Germy Sites

30 October 2009 No Comment

This is a great collection of sites that you can use to help your kids learn more about Germs.

Cells Alive has lots of images of viruses and bacteria mutating.  It provides a visual image for what we can’t see with our naked eye.

Lysol has some activities for kids to learn more about the germs in their homes, like, go on a hunt for virtual germs lurking around the house,  “paint” germy pictures and even some fact or fiction quizzes.

Do Bugs Need Drugs is a great explanation why using antibacterial gels and antibiotics is not always a great idea.

Have any other “Germy” resources for us?  Let us know!
