Got old green onions? Make an “edible” vase!

I got our green onions on sale and I soon learned why, they were starting to wilt. I knew there was no way we would be able to eat the whole bag… so let’s add a splash of greenery to our tabletop! Such a beautiful natural moms solution! I am hoping that the roots of these onions will start to develop and I’ll be able to have fresh green onions for the rest of the winter! Have you made any edible decorations lately? I’d love to hear about them!

Thanks to Fortinbras for providing our green onion image, I chopped mine off before I thought to write the post!

That looks so cool! I love it. Green onions always get lost (and therefore wasted) in my fridge, so I will try this next time for sure.
Great idea. You are so creative
